Camille Moss was born and raised in New York City. She has lived in or around Santa Fe for almost four decades. Her first introduction to beading was in the late 1960's, when she and some friends decided to adorn their bell bottom jeans with flowers and peace signs. Yet, it was not until the year 2000, while working with a very talented Santa Fe couture designer, that she learned the technique of beaded applique on leather.
She has designed and created by hand beaded fashions and stage costumes for the likes of Travis Tritt, Tanya Tucker, Shania Twain, Randy Travis, and others, She also collaborated with a distinguished clothing designer, contributing Her bead works to Ralph Lauren's Polo collection.
Through her varied experiences, Camille has developed a passion for beadwork. Working with the colors and textures of beads gives her the same pleasure as being a kid in a candy store, and she truly enjoys the creative process of designing and executing her unique pieces. She currently resides in Cerrillos, New Mexico.
