I have been repeatedly drawn to county and state fairs which are a particularly rich slice of the American cultural landscape. Margaret Moore grew up in Houston Texas, went to graduate school in Tempe Arizona, and worked at ASU until she moved to Santa Fe New Mexico in 1992.
