Collection: Mary Buck

Mary Buck is originally from Minnesota, but has lived in Santa Fe since 1980.

Her work is motivated by a sense of play; she has felt like an artist since she was a young child and has always delighted in playing with different materials and making things. Making art is also medicine for her and helps her through life's challenges.

She loves to play with wire, it has been a lifetime obsession her entire life. She works primarily in Sterling silver and German silver wire to create jewelry, crowns with precious stones, and larger sculptural pieces like baskets or a giant octopus made entirely of wire.

 Buck also enjoys working with clay.
